Wow, not just any guy; a 'hanging out at the liquor store' guy.
Hopefully you also disinfected everything you touched after the guy
shook your hand.

Perhaps he thought, after shaking Maybe's hand, "OMG! What am I
doing?! Shaking a complete stranger's hand in the liquour store!" -
and he couldn't get home fast enough to scrub down before touching
his, uh...well. You get the idea.
(I was going to start that paragraph with the word "Maybe" - but when
you're posting to or about Maybe it just gets too confusing.) It
would be funny if Maybe had said, "We all have to be very careful with
this swine flu thing..." and the guy said, "You got that right!"

I'm glad all is well between Dave and Regis. The way Regis was going
on and on that morning about how hurt he was, I started to wonder if
it was pretend hype or the real thing. If it were real, I'd be
troubled... I like Regis and Dave's friendship.

Speaking of wedding rings...Dave isn't wearing one yet, is he? Craig
Ferguson "lost" his the week before last, but found it.
Maybe Dave has a super duper spaycial one on order from Europe or
something and it hasn't come in yet. Or maybe not.

Jumping the gun on the weekend time wasting thread, I'm SO excited -
I'm going to NY tomorrow to see the play "Our Town" with my friend
Randi. I've only seen the 1940 movie once, probably back in the 70's
on a snowy VHF channel, but it really moved me. I hope I haven't
become too jaded and cynical over the past 37years - I'm looking
forward to a good cleansing cry.
