The house arrest will only show that the animal has shown no other

vaccination helps to keep it from suffering from rabies, not from
being an actual carrier. They can have it with no symptoms. The
only way to acertain if it does have the rabies is to examine the brain matter. Yeah, the dog has to die to do this test. Have a good
weekend.
Thanks Alan. You're a regular ray of shinshine! I wouldn't mind seeing
the results from some tests of the owner's brain matter.
Early in our marriage, Alan was teasing Wuff. I warned him a couple of
times that she was really serious when she was telling him to leave her
along.... She nailed him.
We had to go have it check out at the hospital. Wuff went through the holding
time at home. The hospital was required to report dog bites by law.
I warned Alan that IF anything happened to my dog-- HE was
going to be held at fault the rest of his life. They came out and looked at
Wuff at the ten day point. She was just Wuff. Calm, relaxed and she didn't
even bark. Even now though... there are times I have to say to Alan....
You are pushing her to that point again. Her bite was a defensive bite.
Alan did go on record he was 'playing' with her.
The dog which bit you sounds like it had a problem with the movement
of you on the bike. That could be dangerous. A second instance... Wuff
and I were walking, her on leash, and she was attacked by a pit bull/American bull mix.
I grabbed her up and the dog had enough sense to keep going for her not me the human.
The dog actually climbed the chain link fence to get to her. That dog stayed
at the dog pound with the owner required to pay rent and board for it. When
it was released-- it was on the condition the dog was in a wood fence (not
chain link) and it be at least 8 feet tall. It's view of the world became extremely
limited because it went after my little dog.
Rabies? Yep... I watched Alan closely for those ten days. Wuff had her shots--
Alan didn't.
