There's a thread nearby discussing dreams...a couple of years ago I had a dream
in which I was choking, coughing up little bits of what appeared to be mulch...I
awoke to find the relative humidity in my bedroom hovering at around 4% and my
throat full of whatever muck collects there, as dry as dust because I'd been
breathing through my mouth in my sleep....

Another dream from around the same time had the world suffering a pandemic of
anosmia...when I awoke it took me half an hour to convince myself that I *did*
in fact still have a sense of smell....r
