I can't stress enough how annoying this practice is.
Drop it, and I guarantee your social life will improve.
She could steal your signature since it's so darn endearing.
I'd gladly *give* her the signature if she'd stop it.
Jess...who would gladly give her the signature if she'd stop it.
(See how annoying it is when the *same* thought is expressed twice?)
Depends on who's doing it -- one out of style, the other out of spite.
I know you'll argue otherwise,
but I swear it's not for spite.
It's something that annoys me,
just like my Houlihan signature used to annoy *you*.
You frequently complained about it,
and I changed it because I got tired of hearing you whine about it.

So why is it wrong for me to speak out about
something that Maybe does as a little gimmick,
which I happen to find extremely redundant and annoying?
You'll say, 'Just ignore it'....
but I'll ask YOU, why couldn't you 'just ignore' *my* signature style, Don?

Again, it's a "favored nations" mentality here.
Those who are members get to slide on the rules.
The rest of us are 2nd class citizens.

"You think it's healthy to obsessively collect things?
You can't relate to other people, so you fill your life with stuff...
I'm just like all these other collector losers.”

Your Houlihan quote was one of self-pity, reflecting your own self-
pity.

Maybe's signature quotes aren't hurting anyone, they don't reflect any
snide insults or outrages.

If you can't recognize the difference, perhaps someday you will.

Ooooooooooooohhhhhhhh,
so because YOU didn't like it,
it was about 'self pity'.

You were picking on me, Don.
The "difference" is that you're a lifetime devotee
to this newsgroup, and you and your friends stick together
and gang up when someone doesn't fit into your little club.

In that sense, the quote was 100% appropriate.
