Re: TR 1/15 Big Show Synopsis

I should go see a movie. There's "The Wrestler" -- how many times have I
mentioned "The Wrestler" in the last couple of weeks? -- and "Gran
Torino." Those are the only two, off the top of my head, that are
currently on my 'list.'

We're gonna go see the "Slumdog Millionaire" film. It's finally
showing at our local artsy-retro-indie-theater, where everything reeks
of patchouli, BO, and weed.

Bohemian.

The point is: If there's a
god who intervenes in daily life, why didn't (s)he just steer those
birds out of the way of the plane in the first place? (Assuming it was
indeed a bird or birds that caused the problem.) Seems like that
would've been the thing to do, if you're omnipotent.

Or, you could have just enabled people with the ability to fly in the
first place, thus eliminating the need for aircraft.

Makes yuh [sic] think. <<dumb guy voice>>

Sometimes I think there might be a God, but then I'll see a promo for
the wacky new NBC comedy "Howie Do It," and that pretty much settles
it for me.

I heard NBC is banking on bold new 'cutting edge' programming to pull itself out of the last-place ratings cellar.

Good luck with that.
