To see the entire list of nominees and to vote:

http://www.pcavote.com/pca/index.jsp

Deadline is December 7, 2008

Maybe...hoping we can put Dave ahead of Regis & Kelly Lee!

I predict Ellen will win. No offense to the other nominees, but
they're already gotten plenty of accolades.

What the hell are you talking about? Of course, Ellen will win. She
wins all the time. AND she has gotten plenty of accolades for her
shows. Here is the list of her awards:

Emmy Awards

Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series
1997 Ellen

Outstanding Talk Show
2004 The Ellen DeGeneres Show
2005 The Ellen DeGeneres Show
2006 The Ellen DeGeneres Show
2007 The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Outstanding Special Class Writing
2005 The Ellen DeGeneres Show
2006 The Ellen DeGeneres Show
2007 The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Outstanding Talk Show Host
2005 The Ellen DeGeneres Show
2006 The Ellen DeGeneres Show
2007 The Ellen DeGeneres Show
2008 The Ellen DeGeneres Show

And I guess Wikipedia didn't list all the Emmy's because they said her
talk show has won 25 Emmy awards for the first three seasons on the
air.

People's Choice Awards
2008 Favorite Daytime Talk Show Host
2008 Favorite Funny Female Star
2008 Favorite Yes I Chose This Star
2007 Favorite Daytime Talk Show Host
2007 Favorite Funny Female Star
2006 Favorite Daytime Talk Show Host
2006 Favorite Funny Female Star
2005 Favorite Daytime Talk Show Host
2005 Favorite Funny Female Star

I was hoping that with our votes, we could at least get Dave a close
second and beat out Regis.

Maybe.,.but if you're voting for Ellen...- Hide quoted text -

Guilt infliction over a People's Choice Award? Yeah, Dave really
deserves best performance for pushing the same book each night. Don't
forget, the fate of the Western world depends on Dave winning this
honor. He invests so much energy into each night's show I fear for his
health. (Not to mention that exhausting feat of a monologue that lasts
4 minutes, tops.) Sometimes it dazzles me how he drives himself. How
does he stand all the pressure?

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought the name of this group was

Maybe...but yep, Ellen doesn't have enough awards- Hide quoted text -

I'm a fan, Laura. I just think you're being a tad hostile. Is
something wrong? What got to me was the tone of your message. I've
never known you to be so snippy to me. (Sorry, but that's the way you
sound.) I didn't know voicing my comment would lead to such a
sensitive reaction and angry messages.

Since I've been watching Dave since LATE NIGHT first aired, I consider
myself a big booster of Letterman. But the truth is, lately, his
pushing of that Fun Facts book has been irritating me. A fan still can
be critical when a favorite performer isn't working full out, but
selling his book or merchandise. That's not entertaining, Laura. I
also noticed you wrote at 4 o'clock in the morning. I know something
is going on with you and I hope it works out soon. :) I've always
loved your sense of humor, but I don't see it applied in this case.
