Thanks Alan, that was really good. I'm dabbing my eyes with my blue
card right now!

I do have a question for either you or Donz -- Was that scene of Dave
and Paul walking down the street from a show and which one?

April 6, 1994; from today's LS Newsletter (the guy who writes that ?!?
column oughta get paid):

[begin cite]

Paul Newman made a surprise cameo appearance in the audience on the
debut LATE SHOW, August 30, 1993, demanding to know "Where the hell
are the singing cats?" On April 6, 1994, he reappeared, again in the
audience, asking, "No Madonna?" Dave then escorted Paul outside to see
"Cats."

[end cite]

Dave's security became more pronounced after that little walk

Thanks Donz!  I actually did read my LS newsletter today but didn't
put the two together!

Maybe...if the guy who wrote that column in the newsletter got paid,
Crash would get upset.

If the guy who wrote that column got paid for each column written,
he'd have enough cash to bail out Wall Street.

Nice going, Late Show. I hope you're proud of your contributing to
America's financial meltdown.
