It seemed to me to be a rare time when Dave thought he had been informed (one way or another) that this crisis was brought on by the sub-prime mortgage and financing schemes...Bill had it right as it goes beyond that to the way certain institutions have been allowed to opperate, one of them being less-restricted (regulated) financing plots.

So now is *not* the time to pursue my lifelong dream of being a flying-by-my-pants derivatives trader.
