I did watch it. They didn't give him any slack and they wouldn't even
let Elisabeth interrupt to say nice things. ABC has been posting all
their shows the day after they air so it would really be worth the
effort to watch the McCain interview portion of the show when they
post it.
They really had him squirming. There was one funny part when they
were asking him about Roe v. Wade and he was giving his usual crap
about not having a litmus test for nominating judges to the Supreme
Court. He said he would nominate judges who favored strict
interpretation of the Constitution.
And then after a few minutes of talking about strict interpretation of
the Constitution, Whoopi said, "Does that mean you are going to make
me a slave again?" He looked very surprised and she said, "If you
want a strict interpretation of the Constitution that means that
Sherri and I are slaves again."
his answer to that should have been "that's been amended. Try to keep up,
beyotch!"
