I was sitting in the audience at the opening night of "Sugar" (the
play that will paradoxically not be named) and right in the middle of
one of the production numbers, I thought some of the audience had
gotten overly enthusiastic in tapping feet or bouncing in their
seats. After a few seconds, I realized what was happening, and the
wife and I turned to one another simultaneously and asked, "Was that
an earthquake"

So, in short, "yes."

(By the way, the show went much better than I would have expected.)
