I found two articles on the subject. One says they will postpone the
convention and McCain is praying on it:

It is supposed to hit on Tuesday so I guess the convention is okay for
Monday.

My family in New Orleans are evacuating in stages. Some evacuated
today, some will evacuate tomorrow and others will wait until Monday
to evacuate but they are all evacuating just to be safe.

Maybe...who hopes they all will be safe!
