I'm a bit under the weather. Rather phlegmy, if you'll pardon the
expression. I don't know if I caught something in NY or if I caught
something here or if I have allergies, but I have the yucky drainage
that coats my throat and vocal cords. I've been waking in the morning
with a very sore throat that tends to get better as the day goes on.
But now my voice has dropped an octave and my son says I sound like
someone who smokes. This happened without any preliminary nasal
congestion, runny nose, or sneezing -- just the goo in my throat and a
gravelly voice. I decided to take my son's generic Zyrtec and wait to
see what happens. And I'm feeling listless so I took a nap today while
my son was at a baseball game with a friend.
Yesterday we heard the sad news that UGA VI had died.
