NEW YORK (AP) ? Jimmy Fallon's kindergarten yearbook at St. Mary of
the Snow in Saugerties, N.Y., listed him as "most likely to take over
for David Letterman."

This now-statement of fact appears to have originated more as a joke.
At his announcement today, "Mr. Fallon claimed his kindergarten
yearbook featured his photo above the caption 'Most Likely to Take
Over David Letterman.'"

_Claimed_. Now it's suddenly fact. Let's parse it out:

Jimmy was born September 19, 1974. Which means that his kindergarten
yearbook would have been published in the Spring of 1980. Before Dave
debuted his morning show, two years before he began "Late Night."
