Last night's show cutoff at the end?

At the end of last night's show, during Paula Abdul's segment, the
screen went to a still of Charlie Sheen's sitcom for several seconds
then to the CBS logo card and then cut into the middle of Craig's
opening. Was this a local glitch here in Denver or is that how the show
ended nation wide?
