And that brings me right back to Election '08! I'll be watching CNN
as the votes come in, so meet me here later tonight.

So here's where we stand.

As of 10:50 PM ET, Senator Clinton is projected to win Rhode Island;
Senator Obama is projected to win Vermont; and Texas and Ohio are too
close to call.

Meanwhile, Senator McCain is projected to win all four, locking up the
Republican nomination.

Update: CNN is now projecting that Senator Clinton will win Ohio.

Thanks, Brady. If not for all your updates tonight, I doubt there are
many here who can either watch tv, listen to the radio, or surf the
web for the info you've provided.

speaking just for myself, I feel no sense of urgency today. who won what
will still be the lead story when I get up tomorrow, with more accurate
details. on election day in November, I may have more interest.

Word on the street is -- after around 48 hours, it'll be determined
that Obama will have retained his delegate lead. (And even if Clinton
wins Texas, it's more likely that Obama will actually win more
delegates than her in that state.) Within the next week, the Obama
camp will announce the addition of 50 superdelegates to their column
(unless the Clinton camp can persuade them otherwise) as well as how
much $$ they got in February.

So while this is Clinton's night, only because she broke Obama's 12-0
streak, reality will set back in soon enough.
