"Well, what happened is I had done his show many, many times and
considered him a friend of mine. And all of a sudden, a whole new
brand of humor started to be displayed by him. And he was in that
humor questioning my masculinity," Wayne
said Thursday.
Later in the interview, Newton donned a pink, burgundy, and silver
silk-sequinned jumpsuit, put on a jet-black pompadour wig, touched up
his plastic surgery scars with a heavy coat of pancake makeup, and
sang his classic hit "Danke Schoen" in his signature high-pitched
falsetto, dedicating the performance to the memory of his good friend,
Liberace.
Isn't it kind of, er, homophobic to be offended by such an implication(s)? I mean, just come right out with it, Wayne. You obviously think it's 'wrong' to be gay. We get it. (I know Wayne's not here, man.)
Perhaps he doth protest a little *too* much.
