I see what you are saying, the privacy is almost wierd in comparison
to say Regis and his mentions of Joyce. I don't think joyce looses any
privcy because Regis mentions her.
But Donz and Foxy are probably right that Dave wouldn't mention Regina
because she does not want it. Otherwise he would, just as Dave
mentions Harry. If Regina wanted Harry to be left out of the public
eye, I suspect Dave would probably respect that and Harry wouldn't be
mentioned. So there seems to have been some discussion.
My *guess* is that to Harry has been given exposure so that he will
not be a highly sought hunted-after photographer's target.
Kath - pure speculation
I also think it's part of Dave's humor to poke fun at himself. If he talks
about a girlfriend and a happy relationship, his self deprecating remarks
wouldn't work as well.
