Like "Daddy's Boy" - co-written in 1996 with his dad, Bob Elliott of
the comedy team Bob & Ray - "Thwacker" revels in the bizarre. It
features kerosene-powered cell phones, street vendors selling
mayonnaise, and cameos by Yoko Ono, Liz Smith, Don Imus, a flatulent
Teddy Roosevelt and Elliott himself.

Chris and Bob's book was first published in 1989. They promoted it
together on LN, May 24, of that year.
