Eight minutes into the show, Dave has to make a correction. Turns out the Miss USA Pageant, which Dave referenced in the monologue, will not in fact air on CBS -- it'll be on NBC. So if you were 'planning to not watch it on CBS,' Dave says you'll have to 'plan to not watch it on NBC.'
Al Gore will be running for president, but his ass has opted to remain in the private sector.
We take a look at some 'Fun Facts.' They're from the Federal Bureau of Miscellaneous Information -- the FBMI. Dave says they're interesting & educational, but more importantly they're factual.
Before going to the break, we take a look at some 'Great Moments in Presidential Speeches.' Did you know that Sue Hum was at JFK's inauguration? She was cleaning the lint off his jacket, right there as he spoke.
