University of Pennsylvania and I interned in 2004. My point is thatfinding stuff that fits the voice of the show is a lot harder than you
guys think it is. There are a great many more pressures and processes
that are seen by the viewer at home. It is an AMAZING place to work and
be a part of, but honestly the fact that it seems easy or segments seem
like they write themselves are a tribute to Dave and the writers. Trust
me it is anything but.<<
Point taken, I get annoyed that Dave seems to play it safe, I understand
it's not Late Night 20 years ago but there are just no more "water
cooler" moments like there used to be at 12:30am. I'm sure it's
frustrating for the writers also and thats why you see new names on the
credits every so often.
