I'd be surprised if it were. While a horrible tragedy for Dana's
family, it doesn't warrant cancelling the show.

After reading his statement, you're probably right. I was under the
impression he was personally closer to this driver.

Not that it makes a difference but Paul Dana was considered what some call a
"paying driver" and was added to the team just days before the first race
after their regular third regular driver, Vitor Meira(sp?) was let go by the
team for lack of funding. I wouldn't be surprised if Dave never met Paul
Dana.
