Leno actually manages to keep the laughs coming in interviews, whereas
Dave isn't really that funny when interviewing people. If something
funny comes up, it's when the guest tells a joke. Dave doesn't seem to
be good at finding humorous things to talk about when talking with
guests. He's too serious.

You're entitled to your opinion, but then so am I. Yes, Leno always
goes for the humor in his interviews, but that's only because he's more
comfortable with that. If you want humor then perhaps that's enough,
but when you have John McCain, Bill or Hillary Clinton or someone else
who has a topic of a serior nature, Leno will never be comfortable
while Dave, when he's zoned in and interested in the subject matter, is
at his best. Recently Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld cancelled an
appearance with Dave and I'd bet the house that his staff was very
concerned that the upcoming interview would be far too intense and
problematic to their liking.
Once again, if you want funny then perhaps Jay is the one to watch, as
predictable as he gets. However, if the guest is a newsmaker and you
want answers instead of humor, then you'll want Dave.
