STERN VS. CBS

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The whole thing is a 'joke, nuts, silly' says
Howard Stern, of a threatened half a billion dollar lawsuit against the
shock jock, by his former employer, CBS.

In a mid day press conference in Times Square, Howard Stern responded
to the threatened lawsuit.

"This lawsuit is a personal vendetta against me to distract me and to
distract you, the radio division is in shambles," he said.

Stern denies claims he entered into a secret deal with Sirius Satellite
Radio, and hijacked the CBS airwaves to plug his endeavor.

"I went on the air, called it a 'eh eh', told me it was funny, they had
dump buttons that they never hit."

Stern believes CBS CEO Les Moonves has made this personal.

"All he is, is a television programmer, he's not a CEO, he's not a guy
who can run a business, he's in over his head."

CBS has yet to respond to Stern's comments.
