Not to put this down or anything, but don't they realize that it's not
terribly difficult to score standy-by tickets to Dave if you live in the
area.

The city Department of Homeless Services is hoping an offer of
prizes will attract more volunteers for its 2006 homeless survey.

The department will raffle off "Phantom of the Opera" and "Late
Night with David Letterman" tickets to volunteers conducting the Feb.
27 census.
