This (this "Karen is a fake drunk" humor)is still funny to me, by the
way. Brad is still funny to me, period. That has not changed.

I'm sorry, you'll have to resort to less hoity-toity/music-based
analogies for me to keep up with you. (*STILL FUNNY* though!)

Really? I guess I'm missing them. I did see the first half of last
night's show. Were there any sparks for you there? I'm not trying to be
a smartass, I'm serious. Did you enjoy the "Rupert learns to dance"
piece, for instance? For me, there's nothing memorable about the
pre-taped pieces anymore. I feel like I've seen it all before. It makes
me sad more than anything.

I still like *Dave* - and I love you guys (well *most* of you)- but
I've stopped missing him if I don't watch. This is a fairly new
phenomenon for me - a revelation, if you will - and I just felt like
sharing it. Sharing and analyzing it a little bit, for whomever is
interested. All two of you.

Repetition is irritating (to ME)- ergo LS can be quite irritating to me
these days. Again, not sure if this is because *I* have changed or my
comedy tastes have changed or if what is being repeated now is not as
funny as what used to be repeated on Dave's show in years gone by.

I'm not getting very many of those (this goes for Dave time and real
life as well, unfortunately, but that's another issue for another
newsgroup - or my therapist - probably) but then, most of the time I
skip past the first 20-25 mins of the show if I'm watching it on
videotape and go straight to the interviews (and sometimes I'll skip
those as well if the guests are not of interest to me). Sometimes - not
always- I read the re-cap in AFL to see if I might have missed anything
worthwhile in the first 1/2 of the show. Most of the time, that doesn't
seem to be the case (imho).

Some of you are probably saying: "Who cares? Don't watch it then! And
stop yer moaning, WE still like it!" But, as a longtime viewer/AFL
poster, I felt the need to kind of put into words what I've been
feeling lately and maybe explain (for those who care) why I don't post
very much anymore. I'm not happy about it and, for some reason, I'm
wanting to figure out why it (the show) is so unsatisfying for me now.
