I've never seen you purchase anything at Rupert's. Indeed, I've
witnessed you swiping Hershey bars into your knapsack whenever his back
is turned. I've warned him about you, but he wouldn't believe me, his
trust in you is total, the poor sap.


I, on the other hand, make it a point to order at least two sandwiches
whenever I'm there, whether I'm hungry or not. Sometimes I'll even
leave my apartment and subway down to the Hello Deli just to buy an
expensive meal.

Brad, too, just sits there, taking up valuable space laptopping his
latest book while others who've actually purchased something have to
stand behind him, the ketchup sometimes dripping on his head. He gets
all nardly when he thinks his scalp is leaking again.


As for the CDs -- because of my decades-long customer loyalty to the
Hello Deli, Rupert gratiously agreed to hawk the product, offering
lunch discounts to customers who buy a copy.
