The Apex was when he started syndicating outside of the NYC area. You
have no idea what you are talking about. He has been pretty steady ever
since, a few douche moments during the filming and a few more when he
was promoting Sirius on FM. You were never really a fan and you
obviously never understood the majority of his show since you weren't
listening in the 80s.

I honestly don't know of anyone that gives a shit about him in my
personal life. If I bring him up to my friends, they generally are
surprised to find out he's still doing a radio show.

You and the 4 or 5 nitwits who obsess about how bad Howard is on usenet
is hardly an arbitron rating. He is still pretty big in the NYC area,
regular radio is dead here since he left. Everyone in LA still knows
what he is up to and he still shows up on TV from time to time. I have
no idea or concern what hillbillies in Florida or the midwest think
about anything so the opinions of you and your friends is worthless to
me and most advertisers.

The fact that people will know when he retires says more about his
impact at 60 years old than your dirt farming friends.
