HOWARD Stern is getting himself a new Stuttering John. Former Stern intern
Steve Grillo, who now runs Hell's Kitchen Pizza at 47th Street and 10th
Avenue, has been hired by the Sirius radio shockmeister to conduct the
embarrassing, in-your-face celebrity interviews that helped make his show
famous. "Stuttering" John Melendez was Stern's chief celeb-chaser for years
until he defected to "The Tonight Show" to be Jay Leno's staff announcer.
Cutting edge radio, great radio in fact.
