Yes, but they aren't Jimmy's gigs. He's getting paid to play at
Bowzer's gigs. It's a semantics game but that's the game that morrone
wanted to play. If Jimmy weren't there, would the gig be canceled? If
Bauman weren't there, would the gig be cancelled?

A long time ago, I played in a wedding band sometimes. If the groom
didn't show up, the gig would be canceled, but it wasn't his gig.

If someone pays you to show up somewhere and play, you have a gig. You
can have a gig playing at someone else's gig, like JD. But, semantics or
not, he has a gig.

A part-time, unambitious gig that sounds more like fun than work,
especially for someone with a family, but a gig nonetheless.
