I only used the Showtime thing as an analogy.....I've never even heard of
Dexter.
Spend most of my tv time with news and old films.....old enough to be in
black and white.
Oddly enough I'm dumb enough to pay for all the premium channels with
FIOS.....but even on the pay channels most of the stuff is boring.
I think if I just had Turner movies, Fox news, and Cspan ......love the book
stuff....I'd be all set.

Hmm.. Dexter probably isn't everyones "cup of tea" but its a great
show. I don't know if you could get into it now that two seasons (or
is it three) have gone by. FWIW your missing some great programming by
not watching HBO and Showtime originals more often.
I pay for all the premium channels too. Seems like a waste but I'd
feel like I was missing something if I didn't have them.
