Yeah, you have said it many times before, and it is just as stupid now

it was before.

Stern's TALENT and fame as a radio personality is what generated the
PUBLICITY. The publicity Sirius knew would be generated was factored
into
Howard's deal. You cannot evaluate the deal with factoring in the
publicity it generated.

While all that maybe true, the bottom line is that depending on how you
look
at the figures the show my not be generating a profit. If he had 2,000,000
listeners I feel that there would be no question.

Is being #1 a success? Sure. Is holding the record for the number of
people
who are willing to pay to listen to you a success? Sure. Is not generating
a
profit a success? Depends on your point of view; but I'd say that it is
mostly not a success.

Ofcourse this assume we believe the Arbitron numbers. Unfortunately these
are the only numbers we have.

Has sirius ever said how many of its online listeners listen to stern?
