2tired to check what scared the market at about 3PM but was having a
miserable day, down about 4 Russell pts each on 3 contracts misreading
the chops until then. In and out of a bunch of shorts in the last hour
and actually came out a little bit ahead. Any idea what spooked the
market?
No I don't. I was going to ask you the same question.
I was up 3+ grand with an hour to go, in a shit market, and managed to
wind up down 1200 for the day.
Actually, AAPL is taking a huge shit in AH, so I'm going to be down more.
Right now I'm long 500 shares of AAPL, 1000 shares of AMZN, and 6000
shares of TIVO.
Should've pulled the trigger on all of them.....

yesterday started tanking as a result of USD hitting a long time low vs the
Euro, oil prices going through the roof and renewed concern over the
mortgage industry according to some summary i read.
It amazes me what spooks the market.
Why'd you buy TIVO?
looks pretty range bound to me for the last year although at times the ATR
is about 4% of close but it's hard catching the lion's share of those
swings
I'm long on TIVO. I do trade the swings but I'm basically holding long. I'm waiting for the decision on the DISH appeal. If it goes in TIVO's favor(again) the stock should see a 7 point pop overnight.
I trade it, but always stay long overnight.
Here take a look at this: I recommended Trade The Move before 2U.. this is
one of their type setups:vodophone first triggered on my watchlist in jan
for a loss and then a few more breakouts off fib extensions on weekly
charts...(yeah, i know it's an interday stock not an intra-day emini, but
as i mentioned i do trade a few stocks for the retirement accounts.. it's
far from a fantastic net return, but more than decent for a low risk, low
maintenance play and sure beats the MMs)

I really suck at reading charts. I have a couple of books, but can't find the time to read them. As long as I keep making money I know all I want to know.... :)
