New grandson got home from the hospital on Friday. Saturday the hospital
called and said, 'bring him back, we found bacteria in his blood.'

Back to the hospital we go, where my little 3 day old grandson was
subjected to a spinal tap .. looking for bacterial meningitis ..

WELL .... After putting him through all that nonsense, IV pumping
antibiotics through a vein in his head, they realized that the blood
sample they called about DID have bacteria, but not because of a bacteria
in the baby's blood, but because someone at the hospital got sloppy and
the blood was contaminated ..

nice huh ? I hate hospitals.
