The issue here is not the number of people they would have to accommodate.
Sears is worried about one person giving their log on to multiple others.
They don't want people getting it for free

Then they and Stern will either have to bite that bullet or come up with a more foolproof way of blocking out people using other people's logon. Stern's answer of "we're working on it" gets real old real fast.

I'd think not allowing a logon to be used by more than one person at the same time would solve quite a bit of that problem.
