Howards New Web Site. SLOW AS HELL

Just wondering if anyone is experiencing the new stern web site being slow
as hell. (seems to have come on-line sometime last week?)

I can see the new site is programmed in PHP, not sure what the old one was.
The old site was nice and fast, while this new one is slow as hell.

I'm a PHP programmer, so it's not the PHP that's slowing it down. They must
have moved to a new server. The real question is WHY?? The only logical
reason is that the old server didn't supposed PHP, but I believe the message
board was in PHP so it must have.

So why the heck would they change server? Someone trying to save money? I
don't get it.

If there was a reason to move to a new server, wouldn't they at least know
exactly how much bandwidth they need to support. (they have the server logs
from the old site to tell them that). Thus they would know what they need to
buy for it to be fast.

So fix it! Web site is useless right now.

PS. the new site is laid out in a much better way. Easier to find stuff. So
contracts on that.
