the goblin and programing

Apparently the gob's Sirius channels are or will shortly be activated. But
he doesn't want anything to be on them because he's just not ready yet.

You have to understand that a creative genius like goblin doesn't just rush
with something as important as programming. Everything he does is
successful and earth shaking. But the reason for that is because he
personally gets involved to ensure that content is just the way he wants it.
He is not going to simply "trust" an employee's definition of funny. It has
to have that Goblin imprint of excellence in comedy.

And the problem is that gobby is just real fucking busy. Lots of stuff
going on and he just can't find the time to be involved with this other
programming to the extent of making them perfect and ready for those
choosing to pay for radio. The content must be better than anything on
commercial radio because there are Sirius customers laying out hard cash and
expecting to get some great laughs for their investment.

He is nothing less than an incredibly delusional douchebag.

But if you think about it, the pattern is very familiar all through the
Flounder era. Big plans, but nothing ever happens. Surely at least one tv
project would have moved forward to a pilot if the goblin was capable of
doing the required work. Even the pig got SONY to waste their money on a
pilot for her.

It seems that goblin has got some serious fear of failure. As he should
since his radio show has been on the decline since the outset of the
Flounder era. When you core point of popularity is declining there usually
isn't much hope of other projects being successful.

So the Sirius situation comes as no surprise.

Apparently his one concession is having a guy fart through the morning.
They are paying him millions and this is what he comes up with.

Why not immediately start that guy Moby. He's sitting on his ass doing
nothing. Or is goblin so afraid that Moby will be a failure - or worse that
their is big positive talk about Moby - before hdouche starts in January.
Why take a chance. No real radio guy will ever begin at Sirius before the
goblin.

Gobby is just postponing the inevitable. Sirius will go under because there
simply aren't enough people left who find the Flounder era goblin funny.
