If JKR writes a better epilogue, one with the detail and the
comprehensiveness that this one should have imbued, then she wouldn't

Wasted opportunity both symbolically and literally. Fandom would have
been in an eternal whine if she hadn't written something but Ms.
Rowling could have done so much, much more in furthering her
alchemical aims. :(
The Epilogue was written as if she couldn't wait to finish the series.
A shame imho.
Edit: I may have forgotten to mention in my overzealous haste to post
my dislike for The Epilogue's literary quality that it does close the
alchemical literary loop in the Septology. Also known as The Sacred
