This is going off-topic, but... do we have any idea how RAB found out

the Horcruxes? Was this covered in DH and I just don't remember? As far

I can remember, Regulus was always portrayed as a fairly average wizard...

would have expected someone more like Snape to have been the one to find

about the Horcruxes (or at least *a* Horcrux).

LV "borrowed" RAB's house elf, Kreature and left him for dead after using
him for testing the defenses on the locket. Either LV told or let slip the
secret to Kreature [after all LV "knew" he would die]... or RAB figured it
out because of Kreature story about all the protection given to a locket.

This more than most anything showed LV to be arrogant. It's like an old
James Bond, or new Austin Powers, where the evil guy tells his whole secret
plan to one who is about to die and then doesn't wait around to see the
person die.
