Did the books decline in quality as quickly as the movies? If so, will
the final film actually be better than the book?
I loved *all* the books. I tend to look at the final three as 'One
book in three parts' which makes it a lot easier to follow since the
storyline is split over the volumes. :)
The films reached their nadir with GoF which was an utter debacle and
then improved... as films... although they have deviated dramatically
from the storyline to the extent I have *no* idea what's happening in
the final film.
However... from the latest trailer... amongst other changes, it would
appear that Harry and Voldemort have their final battle outside
Hogwarts and not in the Great Hall! Not sure how that'll fit with
Bella being slaughtered by Molly etc... but I'm sure we'll find out in
a year or so :(
I saw that trailer too but it made me want to listen to DH again so
yesterday, I started with book one.....
Well, it's probably been a year. :-)
