Well it looks like my cable provider will soon be droping all the news
groups. They have made some sort of deal with another companey to
provide access to the news groups. I don't even know if I can get back
on to this group again to send this post. However, I will try. The

group provider wants 8 a mounth to give what I use to get from the
cable
people. Of course the cable bill stays the same and to get the same
serves I have to pay more. So unless I can find another way to conect,
It looks like I woun't be able to take part anymore. It has been fun
chatting whith everyone here over the years.
I hope I will be back, but i'm not sure it will happen.

One problem is that Google keeps cutting me off, sometimes after only a

I've somehow managed to survive around here with help of Thunderbird and
news.aioe.org. No idea where I found those, but it's helpful :3

A remember I also had a Teranews Account. It costed me $3.50 back in 2003.
But I barely use it now, nor I remember the password.


That would be a shame as Richard is a prime contributor!

I use news.eternal-september.org which seems to work ok (touch wood!) so
perhaps you can set up an account with them? I do hope so as we'll miss you
here!

I use it too. Great for text groups. Not for binaries.

I only do text groups. My brother plays in the other.
How do you get to them?
