Erm... ok. Yes. I do find him attractive, not in a 15-years-old-girl
way, but yes. I do find him quite appealing. And that's because, as I
commented to a friend, I do like my alpha dogs (no pun intended,
REALLY!), and Cullen/what-his-real-name is like a girl for me. And I
don't like men like that... eww.
Edward: Protect girl by breaking up with her.
Jacob: Protect girl by tearing whomever threatens her into bloody gobbets.
Not much gray area here, is there?
(DISCLAIMER: Everything I know about the Twilight series is
second-hand, and possibly wrong.)
Regardless of Edward's apparent personal wimpiness there is one
advantage of being with him that Jacob can't overcome.
Barring accidents, both he and Edward are 'immortal' (more or less)
wheras Bella can only become immortal if she becomes a vampire.
I wonder if JKR or Steph would consider a 'crossover' story where HP
meets the Volturi or similar?? After all, Harry met a vampire once at
Sluggie's Christmas Party so they do already exist in the Potterverse
! :)
