Well, if everybody was heteral, competition for mates would be
fierce, and the wrong people could unleash a genetic defect that
systematically wipes out humanity in a few generations. With them,
people can be a bit more selective, and avoid a dangerous pairing
up.

Of course, since people don't reproduce simply to further the
existence of humanity, then it doesn't matter if some don't
reproduce at all.

There is just one problem with all your statements.

Statistically, homosexuals are too insignificant too have the kind
of "effects" you have talked about. If tommorrow every homosexual on
Earth became "straight" I doubt much will change with regard to
social dynamics or human evolution.

Sorry to reply late, but 2-5% of the population being gay, and a considerably higher percentage being bi is sufficient to have a very significant effect over thousands of years. It's not insignificant at all.

In the area of natural selection, genetics, and populations, don't forget, mankind pent hundreds of thousands of years in the stone age before even the bronze and iron ages. That's the sort of timescale you need to consider the effect over. And judging by the behaviour of other mammals, it's clearly been happening for millenia in mammals.

There is one part of our society where homosexuals a lot of influence:
Fashion. And because they do, what everybody else does: create things
as you would like it for yourself. They create fashion, as they would
like it. So they dress (skinny) woman a bit more man-like, and man a
bit more women-like. And then women imitate the skinny mannequins and
men start using beauty-products and shave off there body-hair :-)

Perhaps. But I have never remotely considered this whole issue
of "fashion". It doesn't enter my thinking at all and I reject it's
purported purpose entirely.

I think the fashion remark was a joke? I know I've never been interested in fashion issues nor any good at it - not my scene, lol.
