There is no evidence of that. Sirius would have known that Harry was relatively well off by having known Harry's parents.

It is more likely that wizarding inheritances pass from Father to SON - and bypass the girls except when there are no boys. Sirius would have left it to his son - which is what he considered Harry to be becasue he lost his parents.
