Dumbledore was not without intervention, but for the most part let
people make their own choices. It's reminiscent of free will and the
good/evil theological arguments. How can God allow evil if He's so
good? Why did God let this bad thing happen to me?
If Dumbledore's so powerful, why does he let Slytherins go bad? Why did
he let such bad things happen to Harry and others?
