Politics is getting difficult for the politicians. In the old days,
they could go to a red state and say one thing and then a blue state
and say something else. With mechanical presses and whatnot, it took
too long for the journalists to do their thing and point out
conflicts. Now, they have to make ambiguous statements that seem
agreeable and unambiguous to the various blocs. If Rowling ever tires
of the fantasy genre, she might enjoy writing this other sort of
fiction.
