Snape's regrets could be whittled down to two if one presumes that he

I count his regrets as during the time of Harry's studies. I believe
OotP was the first showing of James humiliating Snape, and it caused
Sev to lash out at everybody, including Lily. Perhaps that sealed him
as a Slytherin DE until the prophecy controversy, but Voldemort's
callousness led to Snape's turncoat with the Death Eater trials and
everything of subsequence.

It is indeed possible that Snivellus did not consider his first
encounter with James and Sirius on the Hogwarts Express in front of his
best friend to be humiliating and thought he was being the perfect
diplomat.
