I'm not American....

??? Did I say you were?

You asked me if I remembered something that happened halfway around
the world that was of little consequence to my existence or to pretty
well anyone else who lives in the UK so how did you expect me to
answer?

Do you "remember" how the books where first promoted in Germany,
Italy, Finland or Japan? Or in the UK for that matter?

The articles were in the London Times, too.

What's the "London Times"? I do not live in London....

:-)

A newspaper published in London, obviously. Kinda like New York Times
is published in New York, USA, and the Los Angelos Times is published
in Los Angelos,USA, and the Canberra Times is published in Canberra,
Australia. You do not have to live in London to understand the naming
conventions of newspapers.

"s"He was joking.

But you didn't miss my smile. :-)
