Has anyone heard anything about the books being adapted for radio

It sounds too fantastic to believe, but I wouldn't mind hearing
well-done dramatised versions and not just someone reading a book.

HEY ROWLING! LOOKIE LOOKIE: MORE £££'s FOR YOU! JUMP ON IT!

There are Tapes of the books - quite good ones. (Yes - done by one
person though)

I doubt they would get the original cast together to do a dramatized
reading for radio. They would have done that for the tapes if they
were. Today - they could not afford the original cast based on
marketability versus cost.

Still - this is not radio material. This would have to be done as a
VERY LONG(months) serial on Radio. This is not done in the US
anymore. Is it still done anywhere else?

Yes, in the UK.
BBC Radio 4 are very good this sort of thing.
