Are you lying, Bill, or just ignorant? It's not illegal to do the
research, you just can't get federal funds to do so. I mean,
disagreeing with the guy based on facts is one thing, but what you
present here isn't factual.
More often proponents are just misinformed: The pharmaceuticals have
engaged in a massive advertising and lobbying campaign to confuse the
public into supporting embryonic stem cell research. As I said in my
previous post they don't want to throw their own money down what's
likely a dry hole so they're trying to persuade Congress to pass
legislation to publicly fund them.
So its social conservatives vs Big Business, splitting the GOP.
