Actually, they did know more than us (DUH) but she
never gave away plot points.
And you know this how, exactly?
Uh, she said many times nobody knew the ending?
Sheesh.
Who said he knew the ending? Plot points /= "the ending".
She could have told Alan a lot of things about Snape without
telling him the ending.
Sheesh.
And I am not arguing she did.
Neither am I, yet you made it look like I was doing just that. Stop
misreading people's posts, then arguing against them based on your own
misreading.
What I said from the very beginning was they didn't
know everything
No. This is what you said: "I don't think Alan Rickman new anything;
none of them did."
That's very different from what you're arguing NOW, yet you're not
acknowledging that your argument has changed.
No it's not. The posted original link was to an article where Rickman
supposedly said "he knew a little". I argued nobody knew what he knew
and went on to say that the outcomes etc (big stuff) were not know
by the cast (and let me add crew and others in there). JK herself she
did NOT tell anyone. And where it got off as me arguing against that
I've no clue. I merely stated that where the cast didn't know all
about everything, they would need direction... and Jo had to give them
something (even to the director who didn't know the outcomes of their
pasts etc) to help aid in the directing. I don't know why I am trying
to be made out a liar (especially since I freakin agreed with you). I
don't even know why the hell I bother responding; it's a personal
issue with you. You like to attack me continually. you just seem to
want to "try and catch me" in something (personal I know for sure).
And to pick something ridiculously innocuous as this... it's
ridiculous. Because this subject is nothing! It affects nothing.
and the big things they didn't (like of Harry died etc) and
so on the things that they didn't know they would need
some direction on.
Again, that's not what you said at the beginning. Then people pointed
out you were wrong, and you changed your argument, but are STILL
acting like that's been your view from the beginning.
Yes, yes it is! WRONG. I never changed my argument. If you misread,
that's your problem.
In those cases I am sure they conferred with her.
I am sorry people are disagreeing on this to the point
they will call names,
I'm not "calling names"
Again, you didn't read the whole post before you posted the above. I
do say NOT YOU NECESSARILY. You are just trying to start crap again.
insinuate people are lying or just arguing to argue.
Frankly, you do seem to be doing that, though.
No, it's you and the troll. With him, well, it's a troll and with
you, it's because you have a personal issue. Admit it. Because this
subject was nothing to argue about and neither is half the stuff you
post that is negative. You like to bash people though.
It's not a freakin' big deal.
No, what IS a big deal is you not acknowledging that you're wrong, and
that you're misrepresenting other people's arguments.
Because I am not wrong, not misrepresenting anyone's arguments but you
and the troll tried to twist my words though to start crap.
I did notice on here a degeneration on this group, with
people calling names to one another and accusing
others of lying and all sorts of things.
Since I've not done that, could you please post this in a post where
someone did?
Did I say you? No I did not. I would say that because I answered in
regards to your post it may appear I was talking about you, but the
whole post was in general... to this board. And I am right again.
Look at what is going on here right now. As for someone did it. Pick
almost any post and you can see sarcastic remarks, attacks, name
calling and other crap. It's sickening.
I've seen a whole lot of people saying things like people are
ignorant, moron or whatever.
"Ignorant" is very different from "moron", and it's a perfectly
legitimate point to make.
No, it's baiting people when you do that. There are nicer ways of
disagreeing with people without calling them ignorant. And half the
time on here when someone does call someone ignorant, they don't prove
the others wrong by proof and just say they are ignorant because they
disagree. Most of the time it is NOT used in the correct context.
Let me clear this up too before I am bashed again... the YOU I speak
of is a general term - not personally meaning you. I do this a lot
when I speak (speak generally and maybe that's part of the problem -
but it's so difficult to have to clarify every single little
thing....).
Pretty sad it gets to that. It's especially sad to see personal
feelings added to the mix. Not saying that's you necessarily,
Than why are you using my post to make the point?! Why not reply to
someone who's doing it?
<snip>
Damn, dude.
I got miffed and you are VERY agressive and do seem to continually get
nasty with people. It's your tone. You especially do it to me. I've
not said you name called or anything else and this "disintergration of
the group" comment is a general comment so anyone reading this now, it
wasn't directed at you (though I do see you are not a particularly
nice person - you seem to put people down in your tone). Maybe it's I
notice it because of you doing it to me, but a few times I've seen it
elsewhere.
